Using virtual reality to display high quality, immersive interactive photography, Montreal360.ca is about picturing Montreal and Quebec but in a way that you won’t usually see it on the net: as you were there!
Immersive panoramic photographs can be manipulated – in fact they MUST be – allowing you to interact with the environment and have a real feeling (oh well, ok… almost) of looking around.
Sometimes called as Virtual Tours or QuicktimeVR or even photo-bubbles (photo-bulles in French), these 360° immersive pictures are completely different from the one-shot very low quality virtual tours that can be seen on most real estate websites. They are made with top of the line equipment, generating an outstanding definition and quality, giving the final panoramic image realistic feeling. Some of these images – the Ultra High Definition panoramas – can have more than 240 megapixels!
From the moment when I start preparing the shooting, following by computer processing, stitching, adjusting and improving the image to get the best quality possible, until the final upload and posting it here, each panorama is the product of dozens of photos carefully stitched together, several hours of careful and detailed work to produce a seamless, unparalleled image.
I hope you enjoy them.
