Where did they put my autumn?!?
First morning of a two days major storm. And it’s not even winter yet! On the 16th December – officially we still have a few days until the beginning of the winter – we had a severe “winter” storm leaving 40 cm of snow here in Montreal. Up to 60 cm in some parts of Québec.
Flights cancelled, ice-covered highways, 70-90 km/h gusting winds, 400 collisions due to severe weather conditions and one person killed hit by a snowplow as reported by the Ontario Provincial Police. A presage of a long winter to come…
